First, I would like to ask sorry and forgiveness from a whole lot of people, who have been reguarly mailing, pinging and worried about me. For I have not responded to them for a long time. There is no justification that I can give, that would justify my laziness… I AM SORRY…
Second, finally, the “Etisalat” connected my home with a DSL connection, after few trips and couple of applications. Who would have thought that, they would still have your old data and automatically pick up your old address and try to give a connection there…
Now that I am connected, I hope to reply to all the pending emails and make some calls… But please give me some time, for I am sure, I will get to it..

The above statement is part of a technical specification of an electrical utility. In a normal world, you would expect safety of the personnel to come first and the rest to be next. But here we place the safety of the plant first and then comes the personnel in it.
You would be living in a fantasy world, if you had assumed that machines were just here to serve and make our lives better. It is quite ironical to know that presently our goal is to make sure that the machines are running, even if we are not making our lives better….
